Having the tablet style to just switch on the lights/rooms that I want is much faster than chaining a bunch of voice commands. I even tried duplicating my 1st device which was successfully integrated with GH, still GH refuse to accept that device. How can I debug why GH is refusing my device. I looked at logs, device driver log looks clean, and google home integration app does not output much other than error log pasted above. I use to need smartthings on my phone if I wanted finger controls but now the google home app is even way better organized than smartthings.
@cciszew I would add lutron, and any zigbee devices directly to hubitat and expose them to google via google integration app. That way you have more controled automation. My biggest complaint is how Google sees all devices coming over from HE as device type Light and automatically groups them together in the Room. My Smart Bulbs come in as a Light, my Smart switches come in as a Light. If integrated directly, I can change the device type so I can diifferentiate my Smart Switches controllimg ceiling fans and exhaust fans from those controllimg light fixtures and outlets. The fans get changed to device type switch and they show up as indivual devices in the room on Google Home app.

Everything seems to work well, i can still control everything as i did before with google speakers but i was also able to setup basic rules with lutron and hue with hubitat. The same devices respond to google and to hubitat right now. I currently have an Alexa DOT and an Alexa Spot for voice control. The only Google Assistant is on my Pixel phone. Honestly, I’ve had nothing but problems integrating Alexa. It always says things like the hub isn’t responding or it can’t find devices, while Google Assistant never has any issues.
I am always looking for improvements. Add a new project to the Actions on Google console Here you get a new project_id. The automatic room assignment will not work when multiple homes are set up in your Google account. Entities that have not been explicitly assigned to rooms but have been placed in Home Assistant areas will return room hints to Google with the devices in those areas. I think if I had registered Hue with Google Home that it would let me change colors. When this ADT hub comes in and I have to redo everything, I’m going to register the Hue lights first in Google Home and see if that works.
